After a local anaesthetic is it normal to feel low psychologically when living with MS?

I've only had a local anaesthetic once, but I felt fine afterward. I am not a doctor, but I can't think of anything in the anaesthetic that would affect your mood. My first thought would be that you are feeling low due to the stress of whatever procedure you had done.
