Will whiskey solve my tooth infection ?

Howdy, i went to the dentist yesterday to get an abscess/infected molar tooth out but the anaesthetic wasn't strong enough and she had already jiggled this metal thing in there and broke something up or cleared out the hole, i was prescribed amoxicillin and rescheduled for a fortnight`s time, last night i had no pains but this morning i noticed over night my gum/tooth is swollen and a little bit blood was sitting there , rinsed the blood with salty water and everything SEEMS cushdy, but i was wondering , whenever i have had mild tooth ace in the past i used to drink whiskey and burn that little fecker into submission, would it work on this tooth or is that a little too much?
