You pack up and move across the country with only a suitcase and a dufflebag- what do you bring?

I plan on doing this soon. It is well thought out, but looking at my cluttered apartment I don't know what I should bring with me. I am a full time online student. I'll have access to library when I get there so I shouldn't need any computer stuff. I'm going to rent a cheap room and find a job. Everything here I don't bring I will sell or give away. Moms and dads? People who have been there? I live in Texas, I'll be going to live in Montana.
