Would this be a good route for medicine?

I picked English, History and Biology (and Drama AS) for A- levels thinking I wanted to do law. I now really want to do medicine and hopefully specialize in anaesthetics...but I haven't done chemistry for A level. What would be best? Should I apply for something like a biomedical course at uni and then follow up with a medical degree? Or should I try and get onto the foundation year at a university before the degree? Or would resitting AS levels to include chemistry be best? Thank you!
