What is the death risk of anaesthetics for wisdom teeth?

I'm getting my wisdom teeth out tomorrow and the doctor said he would not do it if I was bringing up any phlegm. Well.. I am. How serious are the risks and what are the chances of them happening? I'm getting pretty nervous about this... Thanks
