LLETZ under general anaesthetic?

I had it done under GA. I had no problems. In fact, when I had the colposcopy, it was one of the worst experiences of my life. They had to take 3 samples and it was just awful! They decided to do the LEEP procedure under GA because they didn't think I could handle it any other way. The actual surgery/procedure was much easier than the colposcopy!
