Ladies, is there an option to be put to sleep under anaesthetic at the gynaecologists?

why? are you having an IUD or Mirena IUS fitted and are worried that it will be painful? you need to be more specific as to why you want an anaesthetic at the gyno. most private clinics wouldn't have the facilities, you would probably have to go to one that is based in a hospital. you definetly won't be put under for a normal examination...
