How to cure a dry throat?? Emergency!!!!?

I recently went to a charity event where I walked around in the cold all night and today, I have the worst dry throat. I have tried drinking water, i have tried anaesthetic cough lollies but neither of them seems to work. i cant get to sleep because my throat makes me feel like i am going to throw up every time i try and swallow, and then i start panicking because i can breath and then i start crying because i miss my mum, and wish she could take care of me..... but please help me. i tried the salt gargle and threw up once, and i dont drink tea. please help, i just want to get to sleep :(
