Hi. My dog went into the vets today for a needle biopsy of a lump.....?

.....She was only there for four hours and had no anaesthetic at all but did have a small bit of sedative. Its three hours since we picked her up and shes very, very tired and sluggish and is also walking abit wonkey and quite slowly. Is this normal after a small amount of sedative? Shes a 12kg Jack Russell Terrier X. Shes had quite a bit of water and eaten some food with a lot of interest since. The vets did not tell us that she had been given the sedative and we took her to the park after as a treat for being good at the vets and now I feel bad that we should have brought her home straightaway after. She seemed alright when we picked her up. I only know that she had the sedative because I have phoned the vet since to ask for advice. They said she should be alright soon but I cant help but worry. If anybody has experience of this please could you tell me if she is okay or not. Many thanks.
