Does Implanon Implant increase risk of blood clots?

There is little evidence that progesterone only contraception increases your risk of clot. Combined oral contraception increases clot risk from 5 to 15 per 100,000/ year. Though this is a tripling it is still a modest number. However this risk is likely to be enhanced if you are wheelchair bound, so I do appreciate your concern.
