Dental charges UK. Is this unfair?

Hi holly probably about right my dentist won't normally see me , until I have made an appointment with the hygenist first which Is normally around �35 the last time I was there around a year ago so �40 Is probably around the norm now, I need to get some work done myself but my dentist wants �650 to repair 2 teeth and they won't let me pay It up hence I haven't been back, where as the waiting room is always full of immigrants who get theirs done for free, the good old UK....
