Getting ears pierced this weekend , help?

When I got my mine they did one after the other. I hardly felt it. I don't think they put any numbing cream or anything even. Your earlobe is just skin. They sat me down, did one then the next, I paid and left. I'm a wimp to pain. I hate needles. I won't lie, I almost passed out, but that was more from fear after it was already done and over with. I've also had my cartilage upper ear pierced, my belly button and my lip. It's quite painless. Best advice, just don't get worked up over it thinking it will hurt.

I want to get a simple PDA?

where I can store shopping lists, dates and other misc information. My cell phone is very basic and will not do this...not do I want it to. Can anyone recommend a very simple device that will replace all of the little scraps of paper and little notepads that clutter my purse?

Does it hurt having a tooth pulled out?

I have a molar that is going to be pulled out - this is my first tooth being pulled out by the dentist. Will the dentist make sure I have anaesthetic

I have a blood test on Wednesday, and I am so nervous. Any advice? (Look @ details)?

Tell the technician how you're feeling. They can do it with you laying down just in case. Try closing your eyes and just talk to them or relax and think of someplace you would love to be. Like a beach or something.

Is it possible for this to happen during surgery? (10 points)?

Hey guys! I'm having surgery this year and I read a book once where there was this guy and he had surgery but the anaesthetic didn't work or something and he was completely paralised and couldn't communicate but he could still feel pain and stuff... but he couldn't tell the surgeon. Is this possible to happen?

Swollen Uvula after surgery?

This is so common after surgery. Most people have the same complaint. It will take a day or two until it goes away. Drink plenty of water and stick to soft foods. Try taking 2 Tylenol and 1 Ibuprofen together with plenty of food for pain. If it doesn't go away then call your Doctor.

Omg, I cannot take these family problems screwing up my life xl..!?

You need to find other places to hang out as much as possible, so you're not so overwhelmed with this kind of chaos. Are you old enough to work? Check out the library or community spaces like parks, pools, or museums. There are a TON of programs for young people at all times of the year. Get involved with positive people who can offset the negativity at home. Last, rather than focus on these people, focus on yourself and how to feel productive and peaceful. You generally GET what you concentrate on.
